Father of Electricity :

It is difficult to identify a single “father of electricity,” as the understanding and use of electricity have developed over time and have involved contributions from many different individuals and cultures. However, some notable figures in the history of electricity include:

• Benjamin Franklin: Franklin is perhaps best known for his experiments with electricity, particularly his famous kite experiment in which he demonstrated the electrical nature of lightning. Franklin’s work laid the foundation for the development of modern electrical theory and contributed to the understanding of electricity as a field of study.
• Alessandro Volta: Volta is credited with the development of the first true electrical battery, known as the “Voltaic Pile.” This device, which was created in the late 18th century, was able to generate a continuous flow of electricity, making it an important early step in the development of electrical technology.
• Michael Faraday: Faraday is known for his contributions to the understanding of electricity and magnetism, including his discovery of electromagnetic induction, which laid the foundation for the development of transformers and generators.
• Thomas Edison: Edison is known for his contributions to the development of the practical application of electricity, including the development of the first commercially viable incandescent light bulb and the creation of the first electrical power distribution system.
