The word “serenity” is not found in the Bible. However, the concept of inner peace and calmness, which is often associated with the word “serenity,” is frequently mentioned in the Bible.
For example, in John 14:27, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Similarly, in Philippians 4:7, it says, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
While the word “serenity” may not appear in the Bible, the idea of finding peace and calmness in the midst of life’s challenges is a central theme throughout the scriptures.
